Farmette Syled Shoot

If you have never been to Lyon’s Farmette in Lyons, Colorado, you must go! This venue is a dream! Designing a styled shoot around this venue left me with the aspiration of someday owning my own farmette; growing wild flowers, hosting farm dinners and of course owning multiple baby goats. With this fantasy in mind we created our own dream wedding with the very talented photographer Faith from Honeybee Photography. Faith captured each of our contributions to this shoot beautifully, proving that love is always in the details. All flower arrangements were by the amazingly artistic lace and lilies, hair by Dana Munoz and makeup by Dotted with Hearts. You can see even more of this styled shoot in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine, the 2014 Fall edition.

Green Velvet Photo Shoot

This stylized photo shoot was designed by Faith Wright, the photographer of Honey Bee Photography in Fort Collins, CO. She combined her favorite vendors in a collaboration that I believe created a beautiful image of bridal fashion. Photography of course is by Honey Bee Photography, fashion by Dora Grace Bridal, flowers by lace and lilies, hair by Janie Rocek Designs, and makeup is by me. It is always a treat to work with other wedding industry vendors and specifically ones that clearly see their work as their art.

Emily and Christopher

Emily designed a beautiful travel themed wedding in mid-October. Christopher, the groom, is a pilot which made for an unbelievable wedding photo opportunity. The photography was done by the amazing folks over at Harper Point and the flowers were designed by Lace and Lilies. This wedding was the perfect image of Emily and Christopher’s passions and their love for one another. I was blessed to be able to contribute to this masterpiece through my artistry. This wedding will be featured in The Knot Magazine in May 2014.

Melissa and Wade

How cute is this wedding!?! This wedding was held at a coffee shop in downtown Fort Collins, Colorado, where with their modern-casual feel they still perfectly captured a strong element of the 50’s. Melissa’s one request was to look like a 50’s pin-up for her wedding, and that is the look that we created! Themed weddings are always a treat for a makeup artist, and I think capturing a specific era might be my favorite. This was such a fun event to be a part of and these photos could not be more perfect in reflecting this couple’s unique style. Congratulations you two!

Faith and Kevin

This was an unbelievably beautiful event held in the mountains of Wyoming. Faith created an image of her detail oriented, passionate, and artistic soul. It is always so much fun to be a part of a wedding that feels like an art project designed around the couples love. Complementing the style of this wedding through my artistry was definitely a highlight to my wedding season, not to mention what a treat it was to have an excuse to travel to somewhere as beautiful as this. My makeup artistry for this event, along with all of the other extremely talented vendors that were involved, was featured in Green Wedding Shoes, TheKnot.com, and Dainty Obsessions. The amazing bouquets and flower accessories, designed by Lace and Lillie’s, created a beautifully unique element to the entire event. This bride and wedding could not have been more beautiful!

Amanda and Brett

Amanda and Brett had a late summer wedding that was designed around a classic and traditional theme, tough it was complimented with more formality than the usual summer wedding. This wedding was a black tie event, allowing the girls freedom be a bit sultrier with their makeup which complemented their black bridesmaid’s dresses. This stunning affair was perfectly designed and the bride and her party looked amazing.

This was a beautiful, late summer wedding in Lyons, Colorado. Mackenzie created an event that was very true to her small town, community based, and family dedicated heart. Every element to this wedding was so beautiful through all the love and care put into each detail. Despite the country flair of her cowgirl boots, we designed a very glamorous and modern look for her big day. Her entire wedding party preferred a strong element of glamor which made for a very fun wedding for me. I enjoyed being able to have fun and really do these girls up with dramatic looks and big lashes. Check out more of their wedding over at Style Me Pretty!
